Siden brings extensive experience in education, community development, language and cross-cultural communication to her advisory role with EDGE Worldwide. A Cambodian educator with a Bachelor of Education in English Literature, her professional background spans teaching, school administration, youth development, project coordination and community-based training.
Throughout her career, Siden has worked across both education and civil-society settings, supporting children, families, teachers and community leaders. Her experience includes classroom teaching, early childhood education, project management and the delivery of training in areas such as human rights, gender awareness, communication, advocacy, good governance, conflict resolution and community development.
At EDGE Worldwide, Siden provides an important Cambodian perspective that helps ensure our programs, communications and community engagement are culturally appropriate and locally informed. Her strong Khmer and English language skills also support translation, interpretation and the development of materials that communicate effectively across languages and cultures.
Siden’s understanding of education, Cambodian communities and local cultural context helps EDGE listen carefully, communicate respectfully and approach its work in ways that are relevant to the people and communities we support.
