Last updated: September 2026
These terms apply to your use of the EDGE Worldwide website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this website.
1. About This Website
This website is operated by EDGE Worldwide Limited (ABN 13 613 372 777), a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
You may use this website for lawful, personal and informational purposes only. You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation or security, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any related system or network.
2. Information on This Site
We take reasonable care to keep the information on this website accurate and current. However, website content is provided for general information purposes only and may change without notice.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Where appropriate, you should seek advice relevant to your own circumstances before acting on anything you read here.
3. Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, images, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to EDGE Worldwide.
You may share links to our content and make reasonable personal or non-commercial use of it. EDGE’s name, logo, photographs and substantial website content must not be reproduced, modified, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
4. Donations
EDGE Worldwide Limited is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).
Eligible gifts of $2 or more may be tax-deductible in Australia, subject to Australian tax law and the circumstances of the gift. Donation receipts are available on request. Donors outside Australia should not assume any tax deduction is available in their own country; we cannot advise on this, and you should seek your own advice.
No donation is collected or processed through this website. This site does not host a payment form, does not accept card numbers, and is not connected to a payment gateway. Where we publish bank account details or a QR payment code, any payment you make using them happens entirely between you and your own bank or banking app, under that provider’s terms and security standards. EDGE never sees or stores your card number, account credentials or banking login.
Because these transfers are bank-to-bank, the only details we receive are those your bank passes to us with the payment — usually the amount, the date, and any name or reference you chose to include. If you would like a receipt, contact us with the date and amount and we will match it to the deposit. Where a transfer arrives without a reference, or under a name we cannot match to an enquiry, we may be unable to identify or acknowledge the gift.
Before you transfer
- Confirm the details from this website or directly from us. Our bank account details and QR payment codes are published on our Get Involved page. That page, and direct written contact with us, are the only sources you should rely on. We will never notify you of a change to our banking details by email, SMS or social media message, and we will never ask you to redirect a payment to a different account. If you receive such a request, treat it as fraudulent and contact us at info@edgeworldwide.org before sending anything. Before confirming a transfer, check that the account name matches EDGE Worldwide Limited.
- We cannot reverse a transfer. Because no payment gateway is involved, we have no ability to cancel, recall or charge back a payment you have made. A transfer can only be returned by us sending funds back to you, at our discretion and subject to the paragraph below. If you need to stop or recall a payment, contact your own bank as soon as possible — only they can attempt it.
- Fees and currency are set by your bank, not by us. Sending fees, intermediary bank fees and exchange-rate margins may reduce the amount that reaches us, particularly on international transfers. Any receipt we issue reflects the amount actually received into our account, not the amount you sent.
- Donations are voluntary gifts. A donation is not a payment for goods or services and does not purchase any entitlement, benefit or influence over how a program is run.
Where a donation is made for a specific initiative or appeal, it will be administered in accordance with the stated purpose of that initiative, our governing documents, and applicable law.
Donations are gifts and are generally not refundable once received. Because we cannot reverse a bank transfer, any return of funds is made voluntarily by us, at our discretion, and we will consider a request where a payment was plainly made in error, was not authorised by the account holder, or where a refund is required by law. Any return is made to the account the payment came from, less any fees charged to us, and we may need to verify your identity and the transaction first. Please contact us promptly if you believe an error has occurred. Nothing in this clause limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded.
5. External Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for your convenience and information only. EDGE does not control, endorse, and is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of any linked third-party website.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, EDGE is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information contained on this website, the availability or performance of this website, or your use of any third-party website linked from it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations or legal obligations. The current version will always be published on this website.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
