EDGE Worldwide Limited (ABN 13 613 372 777) (“EDGE”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information gathered through our website and our public communications, and how you can contact us about it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information that is reasonably necessary for our work and that you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, organisation, the content of an enquiry, newsletter subscription details, and information needed to administer a donation or issue a receipt.
When you submit a form through our website, that information is processed on our behalf by our website provider, Netlify. Netlify stores form submissions and may process information outside Australia, including in the United States, as part of providing that service to us.
We do not collect payment information through this website. Donations are made by bank transfer, or by scanning a QR payment code in your own banking app, so card numbers and banking credentials are never entered on this site or transmitted through it. What we learn about a donation comes from our bank, not from the website.
If you would prefer not to use a website form, you can contact us directly at info@edgeworldwide.org.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries and requests
- To send updates you have asked to receive
- To administer donations, receipts, and supporter or partnership relationships
- To meet our legal, financial, governance and reporting obligations, including those we owe to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC)
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We may provide information to service providers who support our website, banking, communications or professional services, where this is reasonably necessary for them to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where we are required or authorised to do so by law.
4. Our Work in Cambodia
EDGE delivers education and community programs in Cambodia. Where we collect information about program participants, families, schools or community partners for the purpose of running these programs, that information is handled separately from general website data and in line with our safeguarding and child protection commitments, consistent with our obligations under the ACNC External Conduct Standards for charities operating overseas.
5. Newsletter Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send EDGE updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in each email, or by contacting us directly.
6. Analytics and Cookies
We do not use advertising, profiling or behavioural-tracking tools on this website. Our limited use of cookies and browser storage is explained in full in our Cookie Notice.
7. Security and Retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We keep personal information only for as long as is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as we are required to retain it for legal, financial, governance or regulatory purposes (including ACNC record-keeping requirements).
8. Access, Correction and Privacy Concerns
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or request that we delete it where we are not required to retain it.
If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please contact us using the details below. We will consider it and respond within a reasonable time.
