EDGE Worldwide is an Australian charity working in Cambodia to expand access to education, support personal and community growth, and create pathways to greater opportunity. Our work spans learning, mentoring, wellbeing, educator development and emerging initiatives such as our Education & Pastoral Care Hubs, all grounded in a long-standing commitment to the people and communities we serve.
EDGE Worldwide is led by Jamie Christopherson, Founder & Executive Director, and Hilde Marie Kvaløsæter, Executive Director.
Together, they provide executive leadership across strategy, partnerships, education, community engagement and organisational development.
The organisation is also overseen by its Board and Responsible People, who provide governance, accountability and strategic oversight.

A defining chapter in EDGE Worldwide’s story.
Phum Ou became one of EDGE Worldwide’s most significant early achievements in Cambodia, a community education initiative built through local relationships, international corporate support and sustained collaboration with community leaders, families, schools and the local monastery.
What began as a shared vision developed into a broad learning environment providing free education and development opportunities for more than 400 children, adults and monks. Programs included language learning, literacy, digital skills, vocational training and professional development, supported by locally developed curriculum, teacher training and ongoing collaboration with educators and community members.
The impact extended well beyond the classroom. Phum Ou demonstrated what can be achieved when community ambition, local leadership, educational expertise and external support come together around a shared purpose.
It remains an important part of EDGE Worldwide’s legacy and continues to shape how we think about education, opportunity and community-led development today.
