Support that began with Hongda in 2011 now continues through his daughter Seavhong’s English studies.

EDGE Worldwide is supporting Seavhong with her English language studies, continuing a relationship with her family that began before she was born.
EDGE Worldwide first began working with her father, Hongda, in 2011. Over the years, EDGE’s support has included education, business mentoring and microfinance. Hongda now runs his own successful real estate business.
With Seavhong continuing her education, that relationship now extends to a second generation. EDGE is helping with her English studies while Hongda remains involved in her learning at home.
Father and daughter study together after the school day has finished. Learning has remained important to Hongda, and he is passing that commitment on to Seavhong.
Their story is an example of the long-term impact education can have on a family. The support that began with Hongda is now continuing through his daughter’s studies.
Seeing a parent and child learning together reflects the value of supporting education over time. Opportunities can pass from one generation to the next, as well as the confidence and self-belief that learning can help build.
